Nature is a scaredy cat
Which jumps in fright on seeing a plastic bag,
And gets sick when we use things it dislikes
Once or twice or 7 billion times.

Nature is a sick dog
Which suffers from fever upon breathing smoke,
And scorches us even though
There is no fault of our own.

Nature is a moody brat
Which changes its mind whenever it wants,
And throws down tornadoes at us
For no reason except to make a fuss.

Nature is a careless goose
Which lets its animals roam all around the land,
And doesn’t even rein them in
Forcing us to do some necessary sins.

Nature isn’t a scaredy cat,
It’s just that we have become
Monsters.
